This was a set of caricatures that I was commissioned to draw for a number of coaches in New Jersey. It was a blast! The woman who set the whole thing up filled me with wonderful ideas and gave me some great ammo for a great caricature. For instance one of them was pranked by the team twice in a week...First he woke to a yard, knee deep, with the entire neighborhoods leaves, then upon clean up he was delivered 3000 or so plastic forks stuck in his grass. Talk about funny! I did these in 4 hours on a Friday and had to mail them out to be received by Monday for the unveiling at a banquet! The pressure was on. Here is the response I got back from the client: "WOW! That's always a great expression. We had three grinning coaches when they got their gifts. Thanks so much. What a fun , personal piece of art to get! You do amazing stories in those caricatures! Our lacrosse team and their parents thank you!"
