I took the tablet with me and drew them all live. They were all super intrigued by the tablet idea and I became the night -long entertainment for the kids. Even the teens spent half the night just watching me draw.
I love how art connects people. This drawing took 4 hours on site and 3 after doing the clean up on the background. It was a tall task to do on site, but hey that's what the customer asked for!

The picture was well received and a great reminder to all he had accomplished and surrounded
himself with over the years. A true fore-runner when it comes to making boating what is is today.

LOL.  His Sister commissioned me to draw this for his birthday. Just completed.  I like the dark and light contrast and use of color more than most of my drawings. I often stay away from darker backgrounds and bold colors and even this one is a bit tame. Line work is improving as I learn to use the Wacom Cintiq 21". Comments please?!
