The picture was well received and a great reminder to all he had accomplished and surrounded
himself with over the years. A true fore-runner when it comes to making boating what is is today.

This is your typical fisherman, Much invested and little to show for it other than stories of the ones that got away! LOL. His Sister commissioned me to draw this for his birthday. Just completed. I like the dark and light contrast and use of color more than most of my drawings. I often stay away from darker backgrounds and bold colors and even this one is a bit tame. Line work is improving as I learn to use the Wacom Cintiq 21". Comments please?!
John is one of those guys that has it all, brains, music talents, creativity, a great wife and his very own kilt! Polly asked me to draw him in true form so this was what he was stuck with in the end :) He was so excited about it that he actually said "That is (&$#' Amazing, I love it!" Go to Hammerax.com and see what amazing cymbals this guy creates!
Thanks for a wonderful 2009! We are so grateful for all of the support, encouragement and gig from the past year. We look forward to growing in 2010 and announcing many exciting plans! All the best on 2010. Sincerely, Ryan and Family!
DCL was recently contacted to do a digital caricature of a beautiful couple announcing their twin girl baby shower. Here is what they received in a large 16x20" Poster and digital copy to email out. What fun!
So along the way of life you meet people that are just super cool and live life to the fullest. That's the family I drew these two drawings for. Kiki is my daughter's friend and the "pea" is an illustration I did for their soon to be nephew's baby shower. The Mom is full of great ideas and sends out elaborately designed cards. Quite the Martha Stewart meets surfer chick... anyway, it's always fun to work with people that are willing to try new things and are not so rigid. After all its only a caricature.
Ben is a friend of our families that is now meeting a golf score in age. He has been a great support to our family for many years and I was honored to have the opportunity to bring out his best - or so I hope I did :). This was done from two photos one smiling and one with glasses. The Course is on Morgan Hill , Easton PA.
